Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, while congratulating the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) of China on its founding day, has said that the role of China’s armed forces is exemplary in global peace and national defense.
In her statement, Maryam Nawaz said that Pak-China relations are not limited to the state or military sphere but are a deep relationship based on public sentiment and brotherhood.
Appreciating the professionalism of the PLA, she said that this army is not only a defensive force but also a symbol of development, order, and national service.
The Chief Minister reiterated that the Punjab government is committed to advancing joint industrial and environmental projects with China so that the benefits of CPEC can be directly delivered to the people.
