Public holiday in Sindh on December 27, notification issued in memory of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto

Karachi: The Sindh government has announced a public holiday on Saturday, December 27, on the occasion of the death anniversary of former Prime Minister Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto. An official notification of this decision was issued by the provincial labor department from Karachi.
The notification states that government offices across the province will remain closed, while the holiday will also apply to educational institutions and other institutions. According to officials, the aim of this move is to remember the services and sacrifices of the national leader.
Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto was martyred in an attack in Rawalpindi in 2007 after an election rally. She was the first female Prime Minister of Pakistan and her political struggle is considered important for democracy in the country.
Every year on December 27th, various political and social organizations hold anniversary celebrations in Sindh, which are attended by a large number of people.
