Islamabad: Imran Khan, the founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), holds a scheduled meeting with Sheer Afzal Marwat after ousting the National Assembly member from the party. Party leaders messaged Marwat to meet the founder after which he told press that he would relay his grievances about the improper expulsion process.
PTI combined forces with Barrister Gohar Ali Khan and Junaid Akbar along with Zartaj Gul to bring Sheer Afzal Marwat back to the parliamentary party session for his expulsion review during heated discussions. Marwat addressed the party leaders with strong emotions to understand the reason behind his dismissal at the time. This intensifies demands that the PTI leadership become more transparent.
According to Barrister Gohar, the problem remains an internal matter for the party to settle on its own. PTI faces expanding internal conflicts when its members start enforcing both accountability systems and unified goals.
