The 11th meeting of the Developing-8 (D-8) nations has brought Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to Cairo. Egypt’s Minister for Public Business Sector and representatives from the Pakistani embassy welcomed him at the airport. The prime minister will stress throughout the summit how crucial it is to support young people and small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs) in order to create resilient and inclusive economies.
He will also take part in a special session that will discuss the humanitarian issues and difficulties in rebuilding Gaza and Lebanon. During the summit, PM Shehbaz Sharif is anticipated to meet with other world leaders in bilateral sessions.
