Pakistan is playing an active role for peace in the region, Ishaq Dar

Islamabad – Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar has said that Pakistan is playing an active diplomatic role to promote peace and stability in the Gulf region.

During a media briefing at the Foreign Office, he said that Pakistan’s efforts for negotiations between the US and Iran reflect its commitment to global peace.

Ishaq Dar said that Pakistan has always prioritized a policy of dialogue, diplomacy and de-escalation.He added that Pakistan has made efforts to build trust and meaningful contacts between different parties based on its relations with important countries in the region.

According to the Foreign Minister, Pakistan believes that the solution to the problems of the region lies in dialogue and diplomacy rather than force.

According to analysts, Pakistan is trying to play a balanced and positive diplomatic role in the current regional situation.
