Operation Shaban continues in Balochistan, more terrorists killed

Quetta: Security forces have intensified operations against terrorists during the ongoing Operation Shaban in Balochistan, while reports of killing three more foreign terrorists in the latest operations have emerged.

According to security sources, the forces are continuing coordinated operations on both the air and ground fronts. During these operations, several hideouts of terrorists were successfully targeted, resulting in the death of three more terrorists. With this development, the total number of terrorists killed in Operation Shaban alone has increased to 88.

Sources said that continuous operations are being carried out based on intelligence inputs to restrict the movement of terrorists in different areas of Balochistan and eliminate their safe havens. Security forces are targeting terrorist networks through modern surveillance, air support and ground operations to further stabilise the law and order situation.

Security sources further said that a total of 126 foreign terrorists have been killed during Operation Shaban and other intelligence-based operations since July 5. The aim of these operations is to thwart the operations of terrorist organizations and ensure the safety of lives and property of the people.

According to sources, the security agencies are determined to completely eliminate terrorism in Balochistan, and it has been reiterated that Operation Shaban will continue uninterrupted until the elimination of the last terrorist. Officials say that operations will continue continuously to establish lasting peace in the region and eliminate terrorist elements.
