Notification of 13 successful candidates of the Mirpur division issued

Muzaffarabad: The Azad Jammu and Kashmir Election Commission has issued the official notification of the successful candidates of 13 legislative assembly constituencies of the Mirpur division. With the issuance of the notification, the election results of the respective seats have become officially effective.

According to the Election Commission, Azhar Sadiq from LA 1 Mirpur 1, Chaudhry Qasim Majeed from LA 2 Mirpur 2, Chaudhry Yasir Sultan from LA 3 Mirpur 3 and Rukhsar Ahmed from LA 4 Mirpur 4 have been declared successful.

In the Bhimber constituencies, Waqar Ahmed Noor from LA 5, Muhammad Razak Chaudhry from LA 6 and Tariq Farooq from LA 7 have won. Similarly, Zafar Iqbal Malik from LA 8 Kotli, Umair Naeem from LA 9, Muhammad Yasin Chaudhry from LA 10, Muhammad Asif from LA 11, Muhammad Riyat Khan from LA 12 and Ayaz Ahmed from LA 13 have been declared successful candidates.

After the issuance of the official notification, the election results of all these constituencies of the Mirpur division have become final. According to the constitutional and electoral procedures, the successful candidates will now complete the next stages under the law.

According to analysts, the issuance of the official notification of the election results is an important stage in the process of forming a new legislative assembly in Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
