LAHORE: Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has said that he is grateful to Allah Almighty for raising Pakistan to the top. He complimented the Pakistan Armed Forces for the solidarity and defense preparedness displayed at the national level in the recent circumstances.
In a statement issued on social networking site X, Nawaz Sharif congratulated Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, Chief of Army Staff General Asim Munir, Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar Sandhu, and the Pakistan Army and said that they demonstrated the country’s defense.
Mian Nawaz Sharif in his statement said that Pakistan is a peace-loving country that always gives priority to peace, but if the security of the country is challenged, Pakistan is not oblivious to its own defense. He described national integration and institutional coordination as the need of the hour.
