Chiniot: Jamaat-e-Ulema-e-Islam (F) ameer Maulana Fazlur Rehman said in a press conference here that Pakistan and Afghanistan are two brotherly Islamic countries; “a single nation lives across the border.”
He said that “the problem of Afghanistan had worsened during the rule of General Musharraf” and the reason for this was international and regional conditions.
Maulana Sahib further said that everything is not going well in the country, so the workers should be prepared. He especially offered a monthly scholarship of Rs 25,000 to the scholars. Rejecting the offer of a scholarship of Rs. 25 lakh, he said, “Even if they give us Rs. 25 lakh, they will still not come under our control.”
