Maryam Nawaz emphasizes on national integration, education and support to the forces

LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz on Thursday gave important messages regarding the country’s security and educational development while addressing a function in Lahore. Commenting on the current border tension, he said, Our forces are always ready to protect Pakistan; the people also have to face every challenge bravely.

Students and people should show full solidarity with Pakistan. In this period of tension, instead of being afraid, we have to stand united for the security of the country. He appealed to all political parties to “prioritize national interest and not be part of any conspiracy that harms the integrity of Pakistan.”

Focusing on educational projects
On the occasion of distributing laptops to 14,000 students in Lahore, the chief minister said that the scheme has been given on full merit and laptops will be provided to all eligible students out of 1 lakh applicants. He also encouraged the chief ministers of other provinces to take similar steps for educational development.

Maryam Nawaz said, The purpose of giving laptops is not just to provide convenience but to highlight the talent of the youth. The future of Punjab and Pakistan is safe in the hands of these youth.

Terming politics as the “best medium of service creation,” she said, “Politics is actually the name of selfless service to the people; it should bring out its positive aspects instead of looking at it from a negative point of view.
