ISPR Strongly Responds to Indian Army Chief’s Remarks on Pakistan

ISPR has strongly reacted to the Indian Army Chief’s recent remarks about Pakistan, terming them provocative and unacceptable.

Rawalpindi – The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) has strongly reacted to the Indian Army Chief’s recent interview with Pakistan, calling it provocative and irresponsible.

According to the ISPR, the Indian Army Chief said in his statement that Pakistan must decide whether it wants to be a part of geography and history or not, which reflects an undiplomatic and aggressive mindset.

The Pakistan Army Public Relations Department (ISPR) clarified that Pakistan is a recognised nuclear power and is an undeniable part of the geography and history of South Asia, whose status cannot be changed by any statement or desire.

The ISPR statement said that such statements increase tension in the region instead of peace, and this attitude has repeatedly led to crises in South Asia.

The military spokesperson said that responsible states do not use such language about their neighbouring countries, as it affects regional stability.

The statement further said that the existence of Pakistan, its sovereignty and its geographical location are historical facts, which cannot be challenged under any circumstances.
