Foreign Minister Directs Support for Pakistani Victims of Morocco Boat Tragedy

Islamabad –Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar has directed Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Interior to give prompt help to Pakistani victims. During the discussion of the prospects for the further resettlement of Afghan nationals to the third countries, information about the Morocco boat incident was also considered.

It was attended by the representatives, including the Foreign Secretary, the Interior Secretary and others. Speaking of the unfortunate events and the lives lost, the Foreign Minister stressed the importance of a proper collaboration for an appropriate government action. He appealed to the relevant ministries to guarantee fast assistance for the concerned Pakistanis and their kin. Some measures are being taken aiming to help the victims and their families to alleviate their sufferings.
