Don’t trust India’s investigation; we need an impartial inquiry: Mohsin Naqvi

Lahore: Federal Interior Minister Senator Mohsin Naqvi has said that Pakistan does not trust India’s unilateral investigation, so an impartial investigation is needed.

Addressing a news conference in Lahore, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi said that Pakistan has offered an impartial investigation to India and made it clear that if India commits any unholy act, it will be given a befitting reply.

Mohsin Naqvi said that on the intervening night of April 25-26, Khawaja made an attempt to enter North Waziristan, which was foiled by security forces. 54 terrorists were killed in the operation, which is the highest number of terrorists killed in any operation in recent times.

The Interior Minister said that these terrorists were sent to Pakistan by foreign masters for sabotage, and fears were also expressed in the National Security Committee that the enemy would try to divert our attention.

Mohsin Naqvi warned that if anyone tries to enter Pakistan in the future, he will be met with the same fate. A large quantity of arms and ammunition was recovered from the slain militants, he added.

The Interior Minister said that this operation is a clear message to all those elements who are thinking of taking up arms against Pakistan.
