Chief of Defence Forces and Army Chief Conclude Official Visit to Iran, Discuss Regional Security and Peace Initiatives

Lahore – Chief of Defence Forces (CDF) Field Marshal Asim Munir and Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi have concluded their three-day official visit to Iran, where they engaged in discussions focused on regional peace and security, according to a statement from the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).


The high-level discussions centered around promoting “sustainable peace in the region,” with particular attention given to the evolving security environment and ongoing diplomatic engagements. The officials emphasized the importance of collaborative efforts to ensure lasting peace and stability in the region.


Field Marshal Asim Munir underscored the need for continued dialogue, de-escalation of tensions, and a peaceful resolution of outstanding issues. He stressed that a long-term diplomatic approach is essential for securing regional stability.


This visit reflects Pakistan’s commitment to regional peace and its willingness to engage with neighboring countries to address security challenges and promote diplomacy.
