Balochistan Development Package: Shahbaz Sharif announces Rs 250 billion allocation, takes tough stance on terrorism

Quetta: Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has announced a fund of Rs 250 billion to accelerate the development process in Balochistan, which is a quarter of the country’s Rs 1,000 billion development budget.

The Prime Minister said in his address to the Grand Jirga that the guidance of tribal elders will be taken to solve Balochistan’s problems at the local level. He said that those who have strayed from the path must be brought back into the mainstream.

Terming the terrorists as “bloodthirsty,” Shahbaz Sharif said that these elements do not want Pakistan’s development and are tools of the enemies. He said that Pakistan carried out six explosions against five attacks by India and took revenge for 1971.

Appreciating the unity of the nation, he said that today the entire nation stands like a rock with the Pakistani army.
