Karachi: The GBP to PKR exchange rate in Pakistan is maintaining a strong position on Monday, 11 May 2026, as both interbank and open market rates are reflecting firm movement in the currency market.
In the interbank market, the British pound is being recorded at Rs. 377.74 buying and Rs. 378.42 selling, while in the open market it is being traded at Rs. 378.55 buying and Rs. 383.05 selling.
The pound’s movement is continuing to affect Pakistan’s education payments, UK remittances, and import-linked transactions, as external payment flows are being adjusted with currency fluctuations.
Trade settlements with the UK market are being influenced by this steady upward pressure, reflecting ongoing global currency strength.
