KARACHI: It was a positive day of trading on the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) today, where the 100 index closed at 114,398 with a gain of 685 points. The market capitalization increased by Rs88 billion to Rs14,125 billion, while deals for 404.3 million shares were settled at Rs27.84 billion.
During the trading day, the 100 index remained in the band of 552 points, while the highest level of the index today was 114,721. The market saw a positive trend from investors, which led to an increase in the buying and selling of shares.
The deal of 404.3 million shares in the share market was settled for 27.84 billion rupees, which shows the confidence of investors in the market. The market capitalization increased by Rs 88 billion to Rs 14,125 billion, indicating an increase in the overall value of the market.
According to experts, this positive trend in the market reflects the improvement of global and local economic conditions. Investors bought shares in various sectors, which increased the diversification and liquidity in the market.
