Karachi: Investor confidence was restored on the first day of the business week at the Pakistan Stock Exchange, as a result of which the 100 index recorded a rise of 663 points and the index closed at 116,199.
During trading, the index remained in the band of 743 points, where investors showed vigorous activity. A total of 50.75 crore shares were traded at Rs 34.10 billion, reflecting the positive trend in the market.
After this significant increase, the market capitalization has increased by Rs 384 billion to reach the level of Rs 14,510 billion. According to economic analysts, this improvement in the Pakistan Stock Exchange is being seen due to increased investor confidence, policy stability, and increased business activity.
The 100 index closed at 115,536 points at the end of the last trading week, but at the beginning of this week, the market showed strength, which has made investors more positive expectations.
