KARACHI: The latest exchange rates of foreign currencies in the open market of Pakistan have been released.
The US dollar was bought at Rs. 280.50 and is being sold at Rs. 282.00. British Pound bought at Rs. 363.00 It is being sold at Rs 366.50. The price of the euro is Rs. 304.25 for buying and Rs. 307.00 for selling.
Among other major currencies, the Saudi riyal was bought at Rs. 74.70 and sold at Rs. 75.25, while the Emirati dirham was bought at Rs. 76.10 and sold at Rs. 76.75.
The Australian dollar was bought at Rs. 177.50 and sold at 179.75, while the Canadian dollar was bought at Rs. 195.10 and sold at Rs. 197.50. The Chinese yuan was bought at Rs. 37.55 and is being sold at Rs. 37.95.
According to forex experts, the volatility in the exchange rate is being seen on the basis of the global market situation, dollar demand and factors affecting the country’s economy.
