Karachi: The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) experienced a positive trading day, with the benchmark 100 Index rising by 594 points. At the close of the trading session, the PSX 100 Index ended at 114,037 points.
During the day, the 100 Index fluctuated within a range of 1,085 points, with its lowest level reaching 113,234 points. A total of 67.54 million shares were traded, with the value of transactions exceeding 30.46 billion Pakistani Rupees.
Market capitalization saw a notable increase of 65 billion rupees, reaching a total of 14.067 trillion rupees.
This growth highlights a positive outlook in the stock market as investor confidence continues to recover.
