Karachi: On the fourth day of the business week, the Pakistan Stock Exchange started trading on a positive note on Thursday. The 100 Index recorded a significant increase of 980 points in the early hours of trading, after which the index was seen trading at 166,246 points.
Increased investor confidence and buying trend in various sectors pushed the market in a positive direction. According to experts, the improved mood of investors led to an improvement in trading volume and an increase in the share prices of prominent companies.
Yesterday, the stock market was volatile, due to which the index temporarily fell below the 166,000 level. However, today, the positive response of investors and buying trend brought the market back to its upper level.
