KARACHI: Gold prices in the country have once again recorded a significant increase, after which gold per tola reached a new high in history.
According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of gold has increased by Rs 1,800 per tola today, after which the new price is Rs 340,600. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold has increased by Rs 1,543, after which it has reached Rs 292.09.
According to the association, gold prices have also increased in the global market, where gold is trading at $3,236 with an increase of $18 per ounce.
Analysts say the rise in prices is being seen due to the ongoing uncertainty in the global market, currency fluctuations, and the trend of investors moving towards gold.
