Karachi: Gold prices in Pakistan have risen again, pushing the rate per tola to Rs 437,536. A rising trend was also observed in global market prices.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of gold per tola in the local market increased by Rs 1,200, bringing the latest rate to Rs 437,536.
An increase was also recorded in the rate for 10 grams of gold; the price rose by Rs 1,029 to reach Rs 375,116.
In the global market, the price increased by $12 to reach $450 per ounce. This movement in global prices is considered significant for the local bullion market, where both international rates and the value of the rupee influence pricing.
Prices have risen over the past few days; on October 3, an increase of Rs4,300 per tola was recorded.
Following these latest developments, the market price has once again reached a high level. Trends in global gold market investments, the currency market, and market sentiment play a crucial role in determining local rates.
