KARACHI – Good news has come for gold buyers across the country: the price of gold has recorded a significant decrease. According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of gold has decreased by Rs 2,000 per tola today.
According to the association, after this reduction, the new price of gold per tola has been fixed at Rs 318,000, while the price of 10 grams of gold has also recorded a decrease of Rs 1,715, after which 10 grams of gold is being sold at Rs 272,633.
Gold prices are also falling in the international market. Globally, gold fell by $28 to $3010 an ounce.
Experts say that the fall in the price of gold is due to the decrease in the price of gold globally and the impact of dollar fluctuations in the local market. This decrease in the price of gold is being welcomed by consumers near the wedding season.
