Lahore: PML-N President and former Prime Minister Mian Nawaz Sharif has said that whenever Pakistan moved on the path of development, it was pushed into political crises. He stressed that the development journey of the country cannot be completed unless all the provinces contribute equally to it.
Nawaz Sharif said this during a meeting with the provincial officials of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa of the PML-N in Lahore. On the occasion, he welcomed Zahid Khan’s joining the PML-N and said that Zahid Khan is a seasoned political worker, and his joining will increase the strength of the party.
Appreciating the sacrifices of the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Nawaz Sharif said that the people of this province have made great sacrifices in the fight against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and terrorism. He said the prosperity of the people of Pakistan and placing the country in the league of developed countries is the main agenda of the PML-N.
The former prime minister said the PML-N government has once again taken the lead to pull the country out of crises. He said that with the help of Allah Almighty, we have put Pakistan’s economy on the path of recovery. He added that political stability and continuity of policies in the country are indispensable for development.
Nawaz Sharif said that the development journey of Pakistan could not be completed until all the provinces were equally involved in it. He stressed that coordination and cooperation among all the provinces is necessary for the development of the country.
He said the PML-N has always strived for the development of the country and the prosperity of the people, and will continue to do so in the future. Nawaz Sharif appealed to the people to stand with the PML-N for the development of the country.
