ISLAMABAD: Pak Telecom Mobile Limited (PTML) has partnered with GNEXT to introduce the latest iPhone portfolio to customers in Pakistan, combining the iPhone 18 Pro series with the operator’s 5G connectivity services.
The partnership covers the iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max and DUO. It was formalised in Islamabad through an agreement signed by PTML Chief Commercial Officer Syed Atif Raza and GNEXT CEO Shahid Khan.
The collaboration is aimed at providing PTML customers with access to the latest Apple devices through GNEXT, which is an Apple Authorised Distributor and Service Provider in Pakistan.
According to PTML, customers will be able to access the booking and registration process through its digital platforms. These include an in-app web view, social media channels and the official Ufone and Telenor Pakistan websites.
Customers can also avail themselves of the offer at selected Ufone-Telenor Pakistan joint shops in Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad and Rawalpindi.
The launch package includes several limited-stock benefits. Customers will be offered Apple AirPods and adapters on a first-come, first-served basis. The company said buyers will also receive a free eSIM with 1TB of data valid for six months.
The package further includes one-time front and back glass coverage for one year and two years of warranty protection under the Shield+ programme.
The partnership comes as Pakistan begins expanding commercial 5G connectivity. PTML said its spectrum portfolio includes low, mid and high frequency bands and that it holds the largest share of the global-standard 3.5 GHz spectrum.
The company said the combination of 5G-enabled devices and its network infrastructure is intended to provide customers with faster mobile connectivity and access to more advanced digital services.
Speaking about the agreement, PTML Chief Commercial Officer Syed Atif Raza said the partnership with GNEXT would help make new technology more accessible to customers while combining Apple devices with the company’s 5G capabilities.
GNEXT CEO Shahid Khan said the partnership would bring together the company’s Apple distribution and customer support capabilities with PTML’s connectivity network.
The collaboration also builds on the integration of Ufone and Telenor Pakistan’s digital platforms and spectrum resources as PTML expands its services in the country’s developing 5G market.
