Islamabad: The Pakistan Super League is entering a new era in its 11th season, where the process of including two new teams has also started along with the expansion of the league.

In the second phase of the tournament, the teams will be divided into two groups, where 12 matches of the Super Four stage will be played. Two teams from both groups will reach the play-off stage.

According to sports analysts, the inclusion of new teams in the league will open doors for young players and promote cricket at the regional level. They say that the expansion of the PSL can also prove to be economically beneficial for the Pakistan Cricket Board.
