Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has said Pakistan is entering a new phase of peace and stability and is being recognised globally as a trusted mediator.

Islamabad – In an interview with a British newspaper, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that Pakistan is optimistic about a new era and lasting peace and that the country is moving towards stability in the region.

He said that Pakistan is going through the brightest period in its history, where the country is being recognised as an honest and trustworthy mediator at the global level. According to him, this trust is the result of Pakistan’s diplomatic successes and balanced policies.

The Prime Minister said that various world leaders are now expressing full confidence in Pakistan’s role, which is a sign that Pakistan’s foreign policy is moving in a positive direction.

PM Shehbaz Sharif also emphasised that, like 240 million Pakistanis, he is also proud of his country, and Pakistan is emerging as a responsible state in the international community.

He said that the government is trying to reduce tensions in the region and resolve issues through negotiations so that lasting peace can be established.
