The Prime Minister highlighted that while many nations are currently struggling to maintain a balance between the demand and supply of essential goods, Pakistan has managed to secure its domestic requirements.

“We are now focusing on a strategy to export abundant essential items in a way that benefits our economy without affecting local availability,” PM Sharif noted. He instructed relevant ministries to propose effective measures to minimize the impact of global price hikes on national production and the common man.

During the meeting, the Prime Minister emphasized the need for a holistic approach that considers both internal and external macroeconomic factors. He stated that the government remains committed to taking all necessary steps for economic stability and public welfare. The meeting served as a platform to align various departments—including finance, planning, and energy—to ensure that Pakistan’s growth trajectory remains stable despite the volatile trends in the international market.
