Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has announced the formal commencement of its pre-Hajj operation, which will begin on April 19. During this operation, the airline will facilitate the transportation of more than 55,000 pilgrims to Saudi Arabia through 191 scheduled flights from various airports across Pakistan.

According to a PIA spokesperson, 49,000 of these pilgrims will travel under the government scheme, while over 6,000 pilgrims from private Haj group operators will also be accommodated on PIA flights.

The first flight of the pre-Hajj operation, PK-747, will depart from Sialkot for Madinah at 1:55 AM on April 19, carrying more than 390 pilgrims.

PIA will also conduct 46 flights from Islamabad, transporting over 15,400 pilgrims to Saudi Arabia, ensuring a smooth and efficient journey for those embarking on the sacred pilgrimage.
