ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Energy Awais Leghari has claimed that electricity prices in the country will be reduced soon and relief will be provided to the people. He said that the government is following its policies, and in the next few days, their claims will come true.
Awais Leghari said that the current government is taking steps to solve public problems, and will not make baseless claims like the previous government. He added that electric vehicles are the need of the future, and the government is taking practical steps in this direction.
He said the electric charging station is an important step towards clean energy, and the government will introduce more projects in this regard. He also informed that the electric charging unit will be provided at Rs 71; however, more details in this regard will be released soon.
Experts say that if there is a reduction in electricity prices, it will be a big relief for the people, but after the continuous increase in electricity rates, the people are carefully watching this claim of the government.
