Islamabad: Pakistanis will get to see a unique and fascinating astronomical spectacle on the night of September 7. The Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (Suparco) has confirmed that there will be a total lunar eclipse across the country on this date. This eclipse will start at 8:30 pm and will end at 1:55 am.
According to Suparco experts, the most important phase of the lunar eclipse will occur at 11:57 pm, when the moon will completely hide in the shadow of the Earth and present a beautiful red scene in the sky.
This astronomical event will not be limited to Pakistan but will also be visible in many parts of Asia, Africa and Europe. Astronomy enthusiasts, students and ordinary citizens can enjoy this rare spectacle directly without any special glasses or equipment, as it is completely safe to view the lunar eclipse with the naked eye.
