LAHORE: The provincial capital witnessed a welcomed stability in poultry rates this Thursday, as the Market Committee Lahore released the latest price list for chicken and eggs.
According to the official notification, the retail price for live broiler chicken has been fixed at Rs. 378 per kilogram, while the price for broiler meat (clean) stands at Rs. 548 per kilogram.
This steady pricing comes as a result of rigorous monitoring by the Punjab Agriculture Marketing Regulatory Authority (PAMRA).
Market analysts suggest that the consistent supply chain from farm-to-city is finally reflecting in the retail market, providing a much-needed reprieve to the kitchen budget of the average citizen.
