According to parliamentary sources, this session is being considered an important stage under the constitutional and legal requirements of the budget for the next fiscal year, in which the government will present its fiscal priorities, tax reforms and development targets.

Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Tariq Fazal Chaudhry has confirmed that the federal budget can be presented in the National Assembly on Friday, June 12. According to him, all arrangements are being completed by the government so that the budget presentation process can be completed without any hindrance.

According to sources, Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb will present the federal budget in the National Assembly, which will include details of income, expenditure, development plans and fiscal targets for the next fiscal year.

According to parliamentary circles, this budget session is being described as an important milestone for the country’s economy, as the government is facing a fiscal deficit, IMF conditions and inflationary pressures on the one hand, while on the other hand, expectations for development spending and public relief are also increasing.

Political observers say that during the budget session, not only will there be a discussion on fiscal policy, but tough questions are also expected from the opposition on the government’s economic strategy.

Thus, the federal budget to be presented on June 12 will not only set the direction of the fiscal year but will also play an important role in parliamentary politics.
