Karachi: The Pakistani open market forex exchange rates moved moderately on January 23 2025 as the US Dollar kept its buying position at 279.75 PKR and its selling price at 281.25 PKR.
Despite other currencies competing for dominance the British Pound Sterling achieved its highest value when exchanging at 344.00 PKR and 347.50 PKR respectively. The Euro maintained its growth with buying rates at 290.50 PKR while selling rates hit 293.25 PKR. The Chinese Yuan held unchanged at 37.59 PKR buying and 37.99 PKR selling while the Saudi Riyal and UAE Dirham showed stable buying rates of 74.20 PKR and 75.90 PKR respectively. Other Currencies such as the Australian Dollar and Canadian Dollar showed small changes due to ongoing global market risks.
Traders watch global economic news closely as the forex rates show economic stability but alertness.
