Karachi: The UAE Dirham (AED) has experienced a minor appreciation in the open market today. It is buying at Rs. 78.6 and selling at Rs. 79.5, marking a slight increase from last week.
The strengthening Dirham is linked to consistent expat transfers and rising trade settlements between Pakistani and UAE-based businesses. Seasonal travel demand, especially post-Eid, is also contributing to the AED’s continued relevance.
