Karachi: The UAE Dirham is holding steady in Pakistan’s open market at Rs. 77.45 (buying) and Rs. 77.60 (selling).
As one of the most vital currencies for Pakistan, the Dirham reflects the strong economic connection with the United Arab Emirates. Thousands of Pakistani workers in the UAE remit billions of rupees back home each year, making the exchange rate especially important for household income and foreign reserves.
