The latest foreign exchange rates in Pakistan’s open market, updated on January 2, 2025, indicate varying trends across major currencies. The US Dollar is being traded at a buying rate of 278.20 PKR and a selling rate of 279.70 PKR, while the UK Pound Sterling stands at 348.75 PKR for buying and 352.25 PKR for selling. The Euro is priced at 288.20 PKR for buying and 290.95 PKR for selling, and the Saudi Riyal is trading at 73.85 PKR and 74.40 PKR for buying and selling, respectively.
Other notable currencies include the UAE Dirham at 75.45 PKR for buying and 76.10 PKR for selling, the Australian Dollar at 173.30 PKR and 175.55 PKR, and the Canadian Dollar at 194.60 PKR and 197.00 PKR. The Chinese Yuan is trading at 37.99 PKR for buying and 38.39 PKR for selling, while the Japanese Yen stands at 1.86 PKR and 1.92 PKR.
