Karachi – British Pound to PKR, 02 May 2026: The British Pound remained strong against the Pakistani Rupee in today’s session. In the open market, GBP was recorded at Rs. 376.05 for buying and Rs. 381.81 for selling, while interbank rates stood at Rs. 375.52 (buying) and Rs. 376.19 (selling).

The Pound holds significance due to historical trade links and a large Pakistani community in the United Kingdom. Remittances sent in GBP play a vital role in supporting Pakistan’s economy.

A stable Pound rate helps maintain purchasing power for families receiving funds from abroad and ensures smoother financial planning for businesses engaged in UK trade.
