Forex Market Update: Pakistani Rupee Fluctuates Against Major Currencies on December 26, 2024

Karachi – The Pakistani rupee displayed swings in the open market versus other foreign currencies as of December 26, 2024. The Australian dollar was trading for buying at Rs 174.75 and for selling at Rs 177.00. For purchasing, the Canadian Dollar was Rs 194.35; for selling, it was Rs 196.75. Buying the Chinese Yuan cost Rs 37.99; selling it brought Rs 38.39. The Japanese yen went from Rs 1.86 for purchasing to Rs 1.92 for selling; the euro was being exchanged at Rs 287.05 for buying and Rs 289.80 for selling.

The U.A.E Dirham was offered at Rs 75.40 for purchasing and Rs 76.05 for selling; the Saudi Riyal was available at Rs 73.80 for buying and Rs 74.35 for selling. With a purchasing rate of Rs 346.25 and a selling rate of Rs 349.75, the UK Pound Sterling was For purchasing, the US Dollar was trading at Rs 277.90; for selling, it was Rs 279.40.
