Karachi: The UAE Dirham is trading at Rs. 76.35 for buying and Rs. 77.35 for selling today. The AED to PKR rate is remaining vital as the UAE is one of Pakistan’s largest trade and remittance partners.
Millions of Pakistanis are working in Dubai and other emirates, and remittances are continuously flowing into Pakistan. A stable dirham is supporting steady inflows, helping to stabilise the foreign exchange market.
Trade relations between Pakistan and the UAE are expanding. Pakistan is exporting food products, textiles, and sports goods while importing petroleum and machinery. The exchange rate is influencing business contracts and pricing decisions.
As the AED remains linked to the US dollar, its movement is indirectly following global dollar trends. Businesses are calculating import costs carefully as payments are being settled in dirhams.
