Pakistan Stock Exchange sees bearish trend, 100 index falls 407 points to close at 146,597

Karachi: After a positive start, the Pakistan Stock Exchange witnessed a negative trend on the third day of the trading week, as a result of which the 100 index could not maintain the 147,000 mark.

Investors bought optimistically in the early and middle part of the market, due to which the 100 index reached a high of 147,892 points, however, later this trend turned bearish due to profit-taking and investment pressure. At the end of the trading, the 100 index closed at 146,597 points with a decline of 407 points.

Yesterday, the market closed at 147,05 points, but today the bullish trend could not be maintained due to the cautious strategy of investors and external financial pressure.
