Islamabad: The government has made minor changes in the prices of petroleum products for October 7, under which petrol has become expensive while diesel has become cheaper.
According to the notification issued, the price of petrol has been increased by Rs 1 19 paise per litre, after which the new price has been fixed at Rs 394 83 paise per litre.
On the other hand, the price of high speed diesel has been reduced by 1 rupee 91 paise per liter. After the reduction, the new price of diesel will be Rs 395 85 paise per litre.
According to the Petroleum Division, OGRA had recommended a change in the ex-depot prices of petroleum products for October 7.
According to officials, local pricing is linked to the prices of petroleum products in the global market, whereby fluctuations in global prices also affect the prices of petrol and diesel in Pakistan.
