Market Analysis: Why Are Fuel Rates Fluctuating?
Under OGRA’s daily pricing mechanism, ex-depot prices are recalculated daily using standard international Platts benchmark pricing alongside SBP currency exchange rates. Following a brief drop on Tuesday, petrol prices rose by Rs. 1.63 per litre while High Speed Diesel surged by Rs. 1.55 per litre effective July 29, 2026.
