Market Analysis: Why Are Fuel Rates Fluctuating?
Under OGRA’s current daily pricing mechanism (effective Monday–Friday), ex-depot prices are updated daily based on SBP dollar rates and Platts Arab Gulf benchmarks. Following the weekend hold, petrol prices dropped by Rs. 1.00 per litre while High Speed Diesel saw a surcharge of Rs. 3.37 per litre effective July 28, 2026.
