Islamabad: The federal government on Sunday kept the price of petrol unchanged and reduced the price of high-speed diesel (HSD) for the next fortnight beginning September 1, 2025, a Finance Division notification showed. Petrol will remain at Rs264.61 per litre, while HSD has been reduced to Rs269.99 per litre — a cut of about Rs3.00. The revision is effective for the fortnight ending September 15, 2025.

The decision also trimmed rates for superior kerosene oil and light diesel oil (LDO). The adjustments follow the usual fortnightly review of petroleum product prices carried out by the Finance Division and notified publicly.
