Gold price continues to drop, cheaper by 438,000 rupees per tola

KARACHI: Gold prices declined in Pakistan on the last trading day of the business week, with the price of one tola falling by Rs1,600 to Rs439,036, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.

The price of 10 grams of gold also decreased by Rs1,372, settling at Rs376,402.

Gold prices recorded a decline in the international market as well. The association reported that the global price of gold fell by $16 to $4,165 per ounce.

Movements in international gold prices, along with changes in the rupee’s value and local market conditions, influence gold rates in Pakistan. Daily price fluctuations are closely monitored by jewellers, investors and consumers planning to purchase gold.

The latest decline comes as buyers and traders assess developments in the global bullion market. Further price movements will depend on international market trends and domestic economic conditions.
