Islamabad: The mobile phone market in Pakistan is continuously expanding, and the practical proof of this is the import data released in the document of the Ministry of Commerce. According to the report, the country imported mobile phones worth $644.6 million during July-October 2025, which is a significant increase compared to $420 million last year.

Month-by-month figures also confirm the same trend. Imports in July were $145.3 million; in August, they reached $155.2 million; in September, imports increased to $199.5 million, while phones worth $144.6 million were purchased in October.

According to technology experts, the increasing availability of 5G devices, the growing trend of online work, and new product launches by global companies in the closing months of the year have made the Pakistani market more active. According to him, the current trend suggests that the increase in imports may continue next month as well.
