Narrated Abu Mas’ud:
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, “If a man spends on his family (with the intention of having a reward from Allah) sincerely for Allah’s sake then it is a (kind of) alms-giving in reward for him.
ہم سے حجاج بن منہال نے بیان کیا ، وہ کہتے ہیں کہ ہم سے شعبہ نے بیان کیا ، وہ کہتے ہیں مجھ کو عدی بن ثابت نے خبر دی ، انھوں نے عبداللہ بن یزید سے سنا ، انھوں نے عبداللہ بن مسعود سے نقل کیا ، انھوں نے آنحضرت صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے کہ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا جب آدمی ثواب کی نیت سے اپنے اہل و عیال پر خرچ کرے پس وہ بھی اس کے لیے صدقہ ہے ۔
