Federal Budget 2025-26: Rs8,205 billion to be distributed to provinces under NFC Award

Islamabad: The federal government has announced the provinces’ share under the NFC Award in the new fiscal year 2025-26 budget. According to official documents, the total distributable revenue is Rs8,205 billion, which will be distributed among the four provinces.

Punjab will get the highest amount, Rs4,076 billion, which is almost half of the total amount. Sindh’s share is Rs2,043 billion, while Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will be given Rs1,342 billion. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will also get an additional one percent share in the context of the war on terrorism.

Balochistan will get the least amount of Rs743 billion; however, according to sources, special grants are also likely to be given in view of the challenges and resources there.
